The term "Ronin Martial Arts" was first used by Sensei Paul Joseph Fuccillo in 1984 to describe the family of martial arts that he teaches in his school, Ronin Dojo. Any other school, individual, or business that uses the names Ronin Martial Arts, Ronin Dojo, Ronin-Do, Ronin-Do-Ryu, Ronin Karate, or Ronin Ju-Jitsu does so without authorization and are not the originators of those names, nor are they authorized to teach or give rank in those names. Please be aware of others using these names.

The martial arts that are taught at Ronin Martial Arts are:

Ronin Karate  -  A blend of Goju, Shotokan, Uechi-ryu, and Muay Thai.

Ronin Ju-Jitsu  -  Kano Ju-Jitsu, Goshin-Budo, and Daito-Ryu Aiki-Ju-Jitsu

Kodokan Judo  -  Traditional, classical Judo

Kobujutsu (Samurai Weapons) - Kenjutsu (Sword Arts: Bokken, Fukuro-shinai,

                                                            White Stick -Araki-Ryu, Suburito)

                                                Bo-jutsu  (6 foot Staff)

                                                Naginata-jutsu  (7 1/2 foot Halberd)

                                                Yari-jutsu  (9 foot battle Spear)

                                                Yariko-jutsu  (6 foot castle or cavalry Spear)

                                                 Jodo  (4 foot Staff)

                                                 Wakizashi (Short Sword)

                                                 Tanto  (Knife)

Ronin-Do-Ryu (Ronin-Do) - a full samurai curriculum featuring all of the above arts This is the comprehensive system of arts compiled from Sensei Fuccillo's intensive research and study into the classical Japanese martial arts, in an effort to re-create the curriculum of the samurai warrior.
